Speed Limitation Error Code Eraser – MAN® Truck & Bus Euro 6 Step E

Portable diagnostic tool designed for heavy-duty MAN® trucks that enter 20 km/h speed limitation mode when a malfunction occurs in the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) aftertreatment system.

When an SCR fault is detected, the truck may automatically activate a severe limp mode, restricting speed to approximately 20 km/h. This situation can cause serious delays and may require costly roadside service.

The Error Code Eraser allows drivers or technicians to quickly clear SCR-related fault codes and restore normal vehicle operation.

How the Device Works

1. Turn the ignition ON (engine must not be running).
2. Connect the Error Code Eraser to the OBD diagnostic port.
3. The Status LED will begin flashing rapidly.
4. After approximately 20 seconds, the LED will remain steady, indicating the process is complete.
5. Disconnect the device and start the engine.
