Installation Overview

⚠ Important:
Before connecting the emulator, the truck must not be in derate mode.

A service procedure “DPF Ash Accumulator” must be performed before installation.

Installation Steps

1. Locate the ACM unit (Aftertreatment Control Module).
2. Disconnect the original ACM connector.
3. Connect the emulator in place of the ACM unit.
4. The original ACM can be removed or left installed.
5. Because the emulator replaces the DPF system, the DPF filter must be removed or drilled through.
