Installation Overview

Installation is simple and requires only a few steps.

1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Locate the NOx sensor behind the catalyst and connect the emulator in its place.
3. Turn the ignition on – the emulator LED will flash and automatically learn the vehicle VIN (approx. 20 seconds).
4. When the LED remains steady, turn off the ignition.
5. Remove EAS fuses:
   • E24 (E706)
   • D26 (E443)
6. Disconnect the following sensors:
   • PM sensor
   • Exhaust temperature sensor
   • DEF tank sensor
   • DEF quality sensor
7. Turn ignition on again.
8. If any errors remain, clear them using a diagnostic tool.
