When injected into the exhaust stream, AdBlue® helps convert harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. This reduction process occurs via a dedicated injector that sprays the urea solution into the exhaust system. The use of AdBlue® enables vehicles over 3.5 tonnes to comply with strict Euro 4, Euro 5, and Euro 6 emission standards established by the European Union.
By installing a specialized SCR emulator, the vehicle continues to display all standard SCR parameters during diagnostics, identical to those of a fully operational system. The emulator sends the same signals to the engine control unit (ECU) as a functioning SCR system would, effectively preventing fault codes and failure modes caused by SCR-related issues. With this device, users can eliminate all SCR-related errors, and the physical SCR system can either be completely removed or left in place as a non-functional component.
The device functions like a diagnostic computer — specifically, it performs the "Clear Fault Codes" function.
